| This monument of Latinity was unveiled on 23 May 1924 and was placed in front of the then Town Hall. It is one of the five copies presented to Romania after the First World War by Italy. During the Second World War the original copy was transferred to Torda, where it has remained. The copy placed in front of the Prefecture was unveiled on 30 November 1991. |
