The National Theater:   Officially dated from 1978 the National Theater is in fact continuing century-old traditions. The first State theatre was founded in 1946 (The Seklar State Theatre); starting with 1962 there has been a Romanian section, too. Integrated into a modern complex of building, it was designed by the well known architect Constantin Savescu, in cooperation with Vladmir Slavu, Mihaela Sava, Aurel Sarbu and Clarisa Wohl.
